Join us, as we explore the pleasures of France, and share with you the experience of some of the world’s best art, food and wine. Throughout your vacation you will stay in beautiful and welcoming accommodations, enjoy local recipes made with seasonal produce, and go wine tasting at vineyards where the heart and art of wines are elegantly expressed. On this 6-day wine, food and culture tour through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Loire Valley, you will travel through the centuries, walk in the footsteps of France’s most notable medieval kings and queens. Here you will stay in a charming French hotel, along the Loire River in the alluring village of Amboise, where illustrious royalty, and Leonardo DaVinci once lived. Here will take you to explore some of the most historically famous châteaux-castles in the region, and their glorious gardens.
In lovely Loire, you will be given the chance to experience exceptional gastronomic recipes and local foodie delights, such as delicious duck confit, famed foie gras, fromage-cheese, buttery sole meunière, succulent Atlantic oysters, caramelized Apple Tarte Tartin, all perfectly paired with wines made from the indigenous grape varietals of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Gamay. Belle France is a feast for the senses, a place to immerse in the cultural charms of the countryside, taste wines at various vineyards, explore colorful cobblestone streets in picturesque villages, and discover the dish Julia Child joyously proclaimed as being, “The most exciting meal of my life.”
