After graduating in Agro-Industrial Engineering and an internship in Sonoma County, Luís Louro returned to Portugal to work with his father, renowned Portuguese producer of Quinta do Mouro. Fascinated by Alentejo and Portuguese local grape varieties, Luis decided share his vision by moving forward with his project. Thus in 2004 was born Adega do Monte Branco in Estremoz.
Tasting Notes:
Made mainly from grape varieties indigenous to the region, this wine pours garnet red in color and has rich aromatic intensity with strong notes of ripe fruits and spice. This is a full-bodied wine with heavy mouth-feel and ripe tannins. It is a complex wine with a long finish.

While fantastic paired with red meat and ham, this wine is a surprisingly versatile food wine that can match well with roasted vegetables, smoke, starch, hearty pastas, and even Mexican food.
