Based in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy, Petrussa is one of Italy’s best and most under the radar estates. In 1995, Hilde Petrussa took over for her mother as the head winemaker of the estate. She began to focus on indigenous grapes and making high quality wines with them. She has earned a name for herself doing so.
From low-yielding vineyards at Prepotto, a stone’s throw away from the Slovenian border, this wine offers full and ripe aromas of greengage, kiwi, pear and lime. It has a nutty and silky finish.
